As incoming students begin their journey at UW-Madison, first year and transfer students are invited to pack the stands at Camp Randall Stadium for a fun-filled evening. Together, they participate in a variety of activities that include:
Learning game-day cheers
Dancing along to iconic UW-Madison Music such as “Jump Around” and “Build Me Up Buttercup”
Creating the Motion W on the center of Barry Alvarez Field

Calling Badger musicians, singers, and spoken word artists! We are so excited about this semester’s Badger Voices show, organized in collaboration with WUD Music. Whether you are a seasoned performer or just starting out, all students are welcome to sign up for this celebration of musical and creative talents! We will also have a limited supply of snacks and food to munch on while enjoying the performances!
This event is held in collaboration with WUD Music.
General attendance is open to all Badgers; no registration required!

Each semester, the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board (WASB) partners with Slow Food on campus to provide a delicious, locally sourced, homemade meal with a panelist Q&A and small group discussions about food culture and food justice. Please review the menu below for dietary info. Participation in the event is free, but we ask that you register via the link above.
The menu will be:
Starter: Corn Pakodas (gf+vegan)
Main: Coconut, ginger wild rice soup with veggies (vegan, contains gluten)
Dessert: Blue Corn Maple Sugar Cookies with Blueberry Pie Topping (contains dairy and gluten)

Curious about what it’s like to work in the world of banking and finance? Join WASB for this semester’s installation of Badger Business Tours at the UW Credit Union! During this private tour, Chris Frey, the Manager of the Union South branch, and a few of his colleagues will conduct a panel discussion, followed by an opportunity for you and the panelists to network, and then everyone will take a tour of the building. While this event is free, space is limited, so secure your spot via the registration link!
Financial Independence

Join us for guided learning and discussion around important financial topics, and enjoy some tasty snacks as you listen & learn! At this event, our guest speaker from the UW Credit Union will present on how to be financially independent post-graduation. There will be plenty of time for Q&A as well. We will also have snacks available to help fuel learning!
Topics will include but are not limited: Salary negotiation, benefits, investing, credit scores, retirement funds, and more!

Join us for an evening of fun as students go to an alumni’s home or a local Madison establishment to discuss their current Wisconsin experience. It is a great way for not just alumni to hear about what is happening at the University, but also for current students to network with alumni and discover how they turned a degree from Wisconsin into a successful post-undergrad life. COW is hosted twice a year, once in November and once in March. We greatly appreciate current hosts, and are always looking to add more!
